CARE Fertility is led by the husband and wife physician team of Kathleen Doody, M.D. and Kevin Doody, M.D., nationally recognized leaders in their field who have always put an emphasis on compassionate patient care.
As CARE Fertility’s reputation for innovation and attentiveness to patients grew, the physician team expanded with Anna Nackley, M.D. joining in 2001 and Robin Thomas, M.D. joining in 2012.

Dr. Kathleen Doody
Kathleen “Dr. Kathy” Doody, M.D.
“Dr. Kathy” co-founded CARE Fertility in 1989 with her husband, Dr. Kevin Doody. Dr. Kathy is also a co-creator with Dr. Kevin of effortless IVF®.
Dr Kathy is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and sub-specialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. She completed her sub-specialty training at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, after receiving her M.D. degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Previously she graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. degree in Chemistry.
Dr Kathy is repeatedly honored as one of Fort Worth's Top Docs, as well as one of Texas' Super doctors, and has been inducted into the prestigious Marquis Who’s Who biographical registry.
Dr. Kevin Doody
Kevin “Dr. Kevin” Doody, M.D.
“Dr. Kevin” co-founded CARE Fertility in 1989 with his wife, Dr. Kathy Doody. Dr. Kevin is also a co-creator with Dr. Kathy of effortless IVF®.
Dr. Kevin is currently on the RESOLVE Physicians council, and has been an integral part of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) efforts in international collaboration. In 2020, Dr. Kevin received the ASRM Suheil J. Muasher Distinguished Service Award based on scientific, leadership, organizational, political, or societal service contributions to ASRM, reproductive medicine and/or reproductive medicine patients. He has served in a variety of positions for SART, including as its president.
Dr Kevin is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and sub-specialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. He received his sub-specialty training at UT Southwestern Medical Center, after receiving his M.D. degree and completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Previously he was a Liberal Arts major at the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Kevin has repeatedly been honored as one of Fort Worth's Top Docs, one of Texas' Super Doctors, and one of the Best Doctors in America for the last several years. He has also been recognized as Microsoft Physician of the Year.
Dr. Anna Nackley
Anna “Dr. Anna” Nackley, M.D.
Dr. Nackley is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and sub-specialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. She completed her fellowship training at the University of South Florida where she also served as a clinical instructor. Previously she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School after receiving her medical degree from Albany College. The native North Texan has been a member of the CARE Fertility team since 2001, and is a Rutledge Cancer Foundation “Heart of Gold” Award winner for providing fertility preservation services to young adult women undergoing cancer treatment. She is repeatedly honored as one of Fort Worth's Top Docs as well as one of Texas' Super Doctors.
Dr. Robin Thomas
Robin “Dr. Robin” Thomas, M.D.
Dr. Thomas is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and sub-specialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center after receiving her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Previously she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M. Born and raised in North Dallas, Dr. Thomas practices in Fort Worth. She has been a member of the CARE Fertility team since 2012, and is repeatedly honored as one of Fort Worth's Top Docs as well as one of Texas' Super Doctors.
