Some decisions are not permanent.
Millions of women in the United States have their fallopian tubes tied as a form of contraception after completing their family. Fortunately, because life situations are subject to change, tubal ligation can be undone.
Tubal ligation reversal offers an excellent opportunity for couples to expand or start a family, and offers many benefits over in vitro fertilization (IVF):
Less costly
Ability to conceive naturally – without fertility drugs or worry of multiple pregnancy
Numerous monthly attempts at conception
Our on-site surgery center
CARE Fertility performs the tubal reversal procedure in our state-of-the-art, fully accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). Thanks to the skill of our experienced surgeons and their training in advanced surgical techniques, CARE Fertility has successfully helped hundreds of patients both locally and around the country gain a new opportunity to grow their family.
A (relatively) simple procedure
Tubal reversal is a day surgery procedure with a single 2- to 3-inch incision. Since the surgery is performed through such a small incision, patients have a short postoperative recovery period and can return to normal activity very quickly. Typically, our patients are back at work within 7 to 10 days and can attempt pregnancy with their following menstrual cycle.
